New York City: Day 3

On the third day, we engaged in our first organized tourist activities, courtesy of the Gray Line bus tours. We took the downtown loop as far as the southern point of Manhattan, boarded a ferry for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, then returned to New York to finish the downtown loop. After that, it was back to Queens, where I’d heard of an interesting performance art exhibit involving a naval gladiatorial battle. It turned out to be sort of a fraternity toga party on steroids, but was still pretty fun.
