First Anniversary — Crazy Horse Memorial

The Crazy Horse Memorial, begun by sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski in 1948 and continued by his family today, will be the largest sculpture in the world when complete. It depicts Crazy Horse pointing outward, indicating, “My lands are where my dead lie buried.”
