Q: Can we use one of your play poster designs to advertise our production?

A: Yes, on a licensed basis. It costs $25 to license my posters—a $20 flat royalty, plus $5 to revise the titles and credits as necessary to fit your group’s specifications. I retain copyright in the artwork, so if anyone asks you about using the poster once I’ve licensed it to you, refer them back to me.

Q: Can we use one of your photos or drawings on our web site or other publication?

A: Yes, provided that you ask me nicely, provide a link back to my site, and don’t sell the picture itself, or a derivative thereof, for profit. If you wish to make indirect commercial use of my products, contact me to talk about royalties.

Q: Can I pay you to draw a picture of me?

A: Yes! I take checks and PayPal payments. Prices start around $10 for a quick caricature sketch, and go up from there based on on size, complexity, and production costs. Email me at brian -at- briangreen.org to order.

Q: Could you draw a picture of me for free?

A: Sure, if you’re a good friend of mine and I have the time.

Q: I saw a picture of someone I know on your site. Can you put me in touch with them?

A: I don’t give out other people’s contact information, but I do pass messages along so that they can respond to you if they want.

Q: I don’t want people looking at my picture online. Could you take it off your site?

A: Yes. Just email me with a link to the offending picture(s), and I’ll remove it as soon as possible.

Q: Are you going to fix that typo/broken link/broken picture/etc.?

A: Yes! Tell me where the error is, and I’ll fix it ASAP. I really dislike having anything wrong with the site. If you have constructive suggestions about the design, I’m also happy to listen.

Q: I am a Nigerian government official with several million dollars in cash on hand. Will you help me establish a secret offshore bank account in which to deposit it?

A: No. Contact the FBI or the Secret Service. They can help with that sort of thing.
